AusJets was founded in 2008 by Rob Orrock.

As of November 08 Ausjets has been purchased from Rob by myself Christian Mcdonald.

I have been in the remote control hobby for a few years, and since the introduction of Turbines into Australia in the early 90s have had a keen interest in this side of the hobby. I started out on the usual trainers, sport planes, scale planes and as well also the nitro heli scene. The transition into turbine aircraft for me was not a hard decision. The smell of Jet fumes and the whine of a turbine was to hard to resist.

I am part of a North queensland Model Aero club, And have current certification to fly and operate these types of aircraft. 

Through the sound knowledge and expertise of our service rep Brett smith we aim to be able to build and service the turbines that we sell and bring the best possible price available as well through the Jet Joe range of turbines.

 JetJoe Turbines, when first released these little engines had their share of teething problems. However the newest models coming out of the factory are of a much better quality. However some knowledge of FADEC's and Turbines is required to get these engines running to the best of their ability.

, AusJets test run all turbines when they arrive in the country. All Jet Joe Turbines are assembled here in Australia and test run before being shipped tp the customer. When a turbine is purchased as part of a combo with a Fadec or in the value for money flight pack, AusJets tunes the fadec with the turbine and fuel pump. All this predelivery work is included in the price and ensures that the customer receives a turbine that performs to the best of its ability.

AusJets has now expanded to become the sole Australian Dealer for the Jet Central Artes range of turbines, complete with their Lifetime Warranty. We cannow offer a complete range of turbines for those on a budget to those who want the backup of a lifetime warranty.
