AusJets is proud to announce the recent addition of Simon Coombs to our Sponsored Pilot Program.

Simon, our North Queensland representative joins Christopher Dawson, South East Queensland Representative and Brian Kenton, Victorian Representative.

Since starting out with nitro planes at the age of thirteen with the Cairns Model Aero Club his interest in the sport has grown into an obsession. Over the past 20 years Simon has had R/C boats, cars/buggies and helicopters.

7 years ago Simon purchased his fist turbine engine and has not looked back since.

The latest addition to Simon's turbine collection is a scratch built F16 powered by a Behotec 130. Its successful maiden voyage was at a recent informal jet meet in Ingham in early December 2010.

Simon currently has a few projects in the pipeline and we look forward to sharing these with you in the near future.
